Marketing / People Associate is responsible on a local/regional level for the following areas: marketing events and strategies, contributing to the implementation and execution of industry and service group marketing plans, acting as liaison to the firm marketing team, CRM management, coordinating recruiting, supporting career building and learning and development.
Work Activities & Accountabilities
The below functions reflect the general details of the essential work activities and accountabilities of this position and are not all inclusive. Other activities may be assigned.
Daily management and execution for all marketing events, initiatives, and strategies in the local office
Key contact for the offices with a direct link to the firm marketing team to ensure consistency of strategy, messaging, and visuals
Execute regional campaigns including direct marketing, email campaigns, coordination of speaking engagements, and overall event coordination
Trade show and event coordination including pre-show planning, goal identification, event logistics, speaker submissions and promotional items, and banner orders
Assist with proposal execution receiving initial RFP and ensuring questions are answered accurately before CRL reviews and finalizes
Draft and submit local news releases
Understand, apply, and communicate ad request and submit to design team
Maintain myCLA page for office/region
Coordinates/assists in local office marketing needs including Coaching, Health and Wellness, Employee Relations events.
Manages CRM activity for the offices and ensures the data is updated with assistance of Virtual Assistant(s)
Daily maintenance of CRM to ensure accuracy and data integrity including frequent updates of contact information, opportunities, and activity entry
Designs dashboards and reports activity to the MPO/Team leads on a regular basis
Coordination of recruiting efforts between the office or region and EBS People Solutions with a direct link into various recruiters and HR advisor (including campus recruiting and related activities)
Coordinate all interviews and office visits
Coordination of on-boarding and off-boarding of employees
Support Coaching Champion efforts to advance coaching in the office or region.
Coaching process resource for team regarding process flow, mechanics, and resources.
Learning & Development
Coordinate logistics including, but not limited to: supporting in-person sessions, webcasts and virtual learning conferences (monitoring registration, room set-up, meals, materials, technology set-up, rebroadcast requests, instructor set-up) to support office staff in participating in L&D opportunities locally.
Advocate for the Learning and Compliance teams at the local office level.
Has an understanding of the continuing education requirements of the profession and assists in resolving CPE deficiencies in a timely manner.
Is familiar with the CLA U offerings and promotes learning communications locally.
Has a direct link with the L&D team to provide feedback and input on local office learning needs.
Coordinates all on-site/off-site employee relations events
Proactively recommends retention strategies to office leadership and applicable career coaches
Coordinate any office location issues for team members, including set-ups and IT issues thereafter
Oversee facilities/conference room management/scheduling by Virtual Assistant(s)
Oversee equipment and other vendor relationship management connected to the office
Office safety coordinator
Marketing / People Associate reports to the Operations Director and works closely with Marketing Solutions, EBS Learning, People Solutions, and IT teams.
Proficiency in Microsoft (MS) Windows and Office Products is necessary. Regular use of MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, CRM, Adobe, STAR and other internal systems. Requires ability to quickly master new software applications as needed.
