This driven and strategic communications professional will work closely with key members of the University Communications team to develop and execute strategic marketing plans tied directly to driving enrollment. This innovative communicator will be empowered to craft beautiful, brand-centric stories using multiple media platforms while assessing content performance and opportunities using cutting-edge marketing platforms.
In particular, the specialist will create and execute exceptional inbound marketing campaigns directly tied to enrollment in the University’s innovative Adult and Online Division.
The ideal candidate will:
Believe in MBU’s mission and brand positioning.
Create compelling and effective content in the following forms: blog writing, email campaigns, content offers, website copy.
Be on the cutting edge of social media trends and planning, while creating effective strategic social media plans and posts that stay true to the University’s brand.
Play a role in enrollment-based strategic communication planning and execution.
Have a passion to stay on the forefront of changes and enhancements to the continually-evolving Hubspot tool and will act as an advisor on inbound marketing to the University Communications team.
Develop robust reporting within Hubspot and be responsible for daily monitoring analytics and data campaigns.
The ideal candidate will possess:
A bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, public relations or a related field;
Understanding of inbound marketing;
Experience creating digital content and working in Wordpress;
Proficiency in social media planning, content creation and management of media platforms;
Demonstrable excellent written and oral communication, presentation and problem-solving skills;
Proven project management skills with experience balancing multiple projects simultaneously;
An established record of collaboration and good interpersonal and communication skills.
