The Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) Communications and Marketing Specialist serves as the primary staff member responsible for establishing, monitoring and maintaining the department's image and public presence, both electronic and print. This position will develop and execute communications and marketing strategies for the ECE Department and its various research groups using the appropriate media outlets for each audience. The research faculty is the most productive ECE faculty in the nation according to Academic Analytics with 14 million in annual research expenditures from 30 active research faculty, six teaching faculty, 190 graduate and 90 undergraduate students. The programs in ECE touch on 5 sub-areas of electrical and computer engineering including wireless; systems; computer engineering; photonics, electronics and nanoengineering; and a rapidly developing program in neuroengineering.
