Title: Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing and Promotions
Oversee the creation of all promotional materials and marketing plans.
Compose all PA scripts to creativity coordinate game promotions and sponsorships.
Establish and maintain positive community relationships with local youth organizations.
Work closely with Student Life to increase student attendance and in-game experiences.
Oversee and fulfill all requirements of the National Grid Foundation Grant.
Immediately establish and continuously maintain a working knowledge of the NCAA and BIG EAST Conference rules and regulations and St. John's University Policies and Procedures. Continuously maintain operating guidelines, policies and procedures in your area of responsibility within the department to ensure 100% compliance with the NCAA/BIG EAST rules and regulations.
Fulfill the University's mission of assisting students and others.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field preferred.
Minimum three years of relevant experience in a sports marketing, promotions, event operations and brand development.
Excellent verbal and written skills.
Knowledge of social media and digital marketing.
Strong organizational skills.
Must have clear understanding of NCAA rules and regulations.
