Web and Admissions Copywriter, Communications %26 Marketing

This position will provide writing and editing for theDivision of Enrollment Management and Student Success (EMSS) for the CustomerRelationship Management (CRM) system and other related enrollment and studentsuccess needs. This position will facilitate relationships with departments inthe division and in all the colleges and departments on campus as needed toassist in the creation of messages to recruit students and distribute keyinformation about the University and its processes. The position also willserve as lead copywriter for UTC website, drafting student recruitment copy forthe site while representing EMSS to Communications & Marketing and its webteam. Responsibilities include:
Researching, writing and editing content to bedistributed via the CRM. This content will include messaging directed towardprospective students and their families, students who have applied and are inthe process of completing the steps to attend the University and students whohave enrolled and need information regarding available student resources. Thiscontent will directly affect applications, enrollment, success and retention.
Collaborating with the Director of the CRM,Director of Undergraduate Admissions and the Creative Director to establish afull recruitment communication plan. This will include collaboration acrossdepartments to understand the recruitment process, determine the appropriatemessaging style and establish the appropriate timing of distribution.
Researching, writing and editing content neededfor various recruitment and student success publications that are designed ascompanions to messaging distributed via the CRM.
Collaborating with the editorial team in theCommunications and Marketing Division on writing projects related to web andadmissions copy, and occasional feature story writing highlighting studentsand/or student recruitment.
