Candidates must have solid knowledge of all media, marketing and communications platforms and channels, and experience across all strands of the function is essential. The role requires excellent written and communications skills, direct experience of leading marketing and communications efforts, proactive stakeholder management and tactical planning and crisis management. Candidates must have the ability to manage stakeholders at all levels, communicate effectively on behalf of senior leaders and manage relationships between business unit and corporate marketing teams.
Oversee teams responsible for functions as outlined above.
Direct, plan and oversee development of marketing and communications programmes for the region, including a communications programme for the President and the EMEA Executive Management Committee (EMC).
Identify and implement a formal, comprehensive charitable and community involvement programme, including volunteering and sponsorship opportunities where appropriate.
Develop, implement and communicate an overall strategy to meet business unit and corporate strategic plans. Direct activities toward accomplishing those objectives.
Be accountable for financial and staffing resources, including capital and expense budgets, liaising cross-function to improve efficiency, effectiveness and productivity.
Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or English; Master's preferred
Extensive experience in corporate marketing or marketing/communications agency setting
Proven team management experience
Outstanding communications (writing and public speaking) skills
Stakeholder management at C-suit level
Ability to communicate constructively with staff at all levels within the company
Ability to multi-task and function in fast-paced environment
Strategic thinker with ability to develop strategies, tactics and guidelines
Sound judgement under pressure
Budget management experience
