INTO University Partnerships collaborates with leading universities to provide international students with a personalized and highly supportive learning environment in which to acclimate to life on a US university campus and prepare for long-term academic success. The Manager - Marketing and Recruitment will be responsible for working with the Director, Marketing and Recruitment in strategic planning and decision making for business in assigned markets. They will be responsible for: recruitment for, and promotion of undergraduate and graduate agent-sourced direct programs, UG and Graduate Pathway and Academic English programs; strategic forecasting for assigned regions; scholarship budget management; team management as needed, and may travel up to 50% of the time. This position will be responsible for all stages of the recruitment/sales cycle including lead generation, follow-up, and nurturing; and will be instrumental in generating leads through recruitment activities such as education fairs, agent visits and online marketing. This position reports to the Director of Marketing and Recruitment.
The Marketing and Recruitment Manager reports directly to the Director, Marketing & Recruitment, INTO USF.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
This is a valued role in a growing, dynamic organization so the responsibilities of this position may change and develop over time, but will include the following:
Generate leads for student candidates through a schedule of recruitment activities designed to help USF and INTO USF meet its recruitment and enrollment goals
Travel in market, as required by the market, and approved by Director of Marketing and Recruitment
Manage the INTO USF’s calendar of events and activities across assigned regions as required
Project activity costs and ensure they fall within budget and align with the regional and overall recruitment strategy, seeking input from Director of Marketing and Recruitment
and other parties when necessary
Coordinate with regional representatives and organizations to assure time in market is used effectively and efficiently
Work independently in a responsible, ethical and professional manner as an advocate for USF, INTO USF and its programs
Training third-party recruiters and other organizations
Represent USF and INTO USF and present USF programs, benefits and differentiators to agents, regional staff, government organizations, and others which may involve one-on-one meetings with prospective students, presentations to recruiter’s employees and staff, pre-departure training to admitted students, and other impromptu meetings
Maintain a healthy working relationship with the INTO Global Recruitment Unit (GRU) as well as INTO North America’s recruitment team.
Post-event lead nurturing
Manage lead-nurturing processes and the sales cycle, and analyze what is needed to progress leads to sales
Be a point of contact in answering questions from prospective students, and working with them through the application phase
Liaise with multiple departments to find an accurate and thorough answer, in a timely manner in efforts to provide student candidates with optimal customer service
Analyze data entry, organizing multiple sheets of data
Strategize with the Director of Marketing and Recruitment and INTO USF Marketing Communication Specialist to identify and develop new marketing materials to fit local and overall recruitment strategies
Provide feedback from the field liaising with multiple organizations to evaluate effectiveness of marketing materials
Identify marketing opportunities in the field and provide feedback to the marketing team
Responsible for providing leadership for the Marketing team as necessary when Director, Marketing and Recruitment is unavailable
The Marketing and Recruitment Manager will be responsible for all marketing and recruitment activities for specific regions, including strategizing with regional managers to drive business. The AMRM will also be responsible for all direct and sponsored students in his/her region
Other duties as assigned
This position in based at the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida

Qualifications and Experience
Undergraduate degree in marketing, business, international relations or a related field
2 years of experience in, recruitment, admissions, program coordination, or related field with strong emphasis on customer-service
1 year of experience in a supervisory or leadership role
Eligibility to work in and travel freely to and from the U.S.
Must be able to travel extensively, up to 50% of the year
Understanding and experience with University recruitment and marketing
Applicant must pass a background check and have the ability to be legally employed in the US.
Graduate degree in marketing, business or a related field strongly preferred
Knowledge of a second language is strongly preferred
Experience of living, working and/or studying overseas
Advanced Excel skills
Experience with Salesforce or equivalent CRM/database system
Skills and Abilities

Superior interpersonal and communication skills, including excellent ability to communicate with people from a wide variety of cultures and linguistic backgrounds
