The primary role of the Marketing Manager, Alumni Relations is to help develop the marketing plans for Kellogg’s Alumni Relations team and responsibility for the successful execution of the identified programs and tactics that deliver increased Alumni engagement, satisfaction, and impact to the school.
Manage/Lead day-to-day communication with Alumni Relations, Creative and Digital Services, Development, CMC and Events Team, as needed.
Lead execution of key programs (e.g. new website roll out campaign) and events (Reunion and Tier 1 Community Events).
Drive execution of flagship tools. (Club leader best practices playbook, alumni benefits materials, event planning clubs tools, social media alumni channels.)
Work with data/digital/analytics team to building Alumni reporting approach and manage monthly collection of data to be incorporated into Alumni Relations metrics dashboard.
Performs other duties as assigned.
A bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience from which comparable skills can be acquired.
3-5 years of marketing experience.
Has a good understanding of marketing strategies and experience with marketing tactics.
Has a good understanding of the role of data in developing strategies/recommendations.
Minimum Competencies: (Skills, knowledge, and abilities.)
Adept at reporting and analysis, creating reports, and formulating test plans.
Able to develop recommendations based on data analysis and best practices.
Preferred Qualifications: (Education and experience)
Graduate degree, such as an MBA or Master’s Degree in Marketing or Communications or equivalent combination of education, training and experience from which comparable skills can be acquired.
Preferably has some higher education experience or knowledge of industry.
Experience in digital marketing, content marketing and social media execution.
Preferred Competencies: (Skills, knowledge, and abilities)
Able to work under deadline pressure and adjust priorities independently.
Strong project management skills; able to juggle multiple projects at once.
Competent analytical skills.
Ability to collaborate across groups, proven relationship builder.
Current on communication channels and tools.
