Assists with the day-to-day operation of the Tulane Athletics Marketing department.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: 1. Develop, organize, and implement marketing plans for all 16 intercollegiate athletic teams, as well as oversight of specific sports. 2. Oversee & schedule the Green Wave Street Team and student intern program. 3. Oversee Riptide’s Kids Club and continue to grow the program. 4. Ability to interact effectively with coaches, administrators, student athletes and vendors. 5. General knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite to create advertisements for upcoming games and athletic events.
Bachelor’s Degree in Sport Management, Marketing or closely related field
Strong organizational, management and leadership skills
Proven ability to multi-task effectively
Ability to prioritize assignments and meet deadlines
Proficient computer skills
Knowledgeable of the Adobe Creative Suite
Daktronics knowledge preferred, but not required.
Passion to pursue college athletics as a career.
Graduate assistants must be admitted to a Tulane University graduate program. Various graduate exam scores are potentially a requirement for admission and vary by particular program.
