This position under the supervision of the Principal Program Manager for BAS Programs in the IBIT Division, under general direction of the Dean, and working collaboratively with the Faculty Program Chair of the Bachelor of Digital Marketing, the Program Manager supports the program's mission and goals. Emphasize is placed on recruiting and retaining students into the applied baccalaureate program which involves in-person meetings, the creation of marketing materials, and the use of digital marketing technologies to reach prospective students. Often the first point of contact for students and community members, this position promotes excellence, student success, and a cooperative and inclusive learning community.

ESSENTIALS FUNCTIONS/TYPICAL DUTIES
Student Guidance and Recruitment Functions
Advise and provide students with educational plans, referrals, and other needs that facilitate their success and consistent progression toward their degree.
Develop annual marketing and recruitment plan for BAS in Digital Marketing program.
Maintain the web site and sharing tools/portal to make information about the BAS program available to key audiences and develop awareness of BAS program.
Maintain social media presences related to the BAS in Digital Marketing program.
Conduct information sessions and special events in conjunction with program chair; disseminate advising, marketing and recruitment materials and correspondence for BAS program.
Management and Operations Functions
Manage the daily operations of the BAS in Digital Marketing program in collaboration with the program chair to facilitate administrative, faculty and student needs.
Manage BAS in Digital Marketing department finances, purchasing and budget. Develop, monitor and implement a student retention plan; coordinate with Student Affairs as necessary.
Utilize databases and online tracking software to assist with data collection; Provide data for program planning based on relevant research and program assessments.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree from accredited institution
Experience working with word processing, spreadsheets, publishing, presentation, web authoring, and database programs
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Effective organizational, interpersonal and customer service skills
Experience working with diverse individuals and groups
Technical skills to maintain website and SharePoint portal
Experience providing educational guidance and assistance for students which could include planning schedules, recommending courses and determining appropriate education solutions for different types of students.
Must be able to work an occasional alternate schedule, such as evenings or weekends
Experience recruiting and/or promotional, including social media
Work experience in higher education, preferably a community college setting
Familiarity with course management software (HP)
Experience managing department budgets
Experience evaluating and assessing data
This position is not eligible for relocation allowance.
