Job Description The primary responsibility of this position is to identify and close new sponsorship business on behalf of Troy Sports Properties.
Essential Responsibilities oHelp develop and execute a sales plan to meet and/or exceed Troy Sports Properties and your personal annual revenue goals. oIdentify potential sponsors for Troy Sports Properties. oProspect, develop and close new business. oContract fulfillment and presentation development. oDevelop key marketing objectives with clients. oAssist with client contract fulfillment, execution and review. oEntertain and cultivate sponsors in various settings. oBe available for game days, evening athletic events and coach’s shows. oBe available to travel for client presentations. oComplete all necessary paperwork and reports as required.
Additional Responsibilities oRepresent OUTFRONT Sports, Troy Sports Properties and Troy University in a professional manner. oReport directly to the General Manager of Troy Sports Properties. oSupports and exhibits behavior consistent with the sales and service philosophy of OUTFRONT Sports. oActs with diplomacy as a representative of OUTFRONT Sports and the Troy University oPerforms other related duties as required.
3 plus years demonstrated sales experience; sport sponsorship or entertainment fields preferred.
Knowledge of Alabama marketplace a plus.
Outstanding communication skills are essential for interactions with clients, operational leaders and other senior executives.
Demonstrated professional sales presentation skill.
