Louisiana State University invites applications for the position of three (3) Marketing & Fan Engagement Graduate Assistants in the Marketing Department. These positions will assist five full time staff members in the coordination and execution of all varsity sporting contests and other various special events.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Overseeing a minimum of two (2) sports, planning and implementing marketing plans, creating scripts for assigned sports, enhancing the fan experience at events, assisting with organizing special events, increasing brand awareness and engaging with campus organizations and the local community.

Admission to the LSU Graduate Program in Sport Management or other departmental approved graduate program
Possess strong organizational, communication and time-management skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher).
Must possess knowledge and ability to adhere to policies and procedures of Louisiana State University, LSU Athletics, the SEC and the NCAA
Previous work experience in professional or collegiate athletics.
Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
Special or Physical Requirements:
Ability to work nights, weekends and some holidays is required.
Must be able to walk up and down stairs and stand in one place for long periods of time in variable weather conditions.
Must possess the ability to lift and move items up to approximately 50lbs.
Anticipated start date is July 2019. Each position will receive a tuition stipend equivalent to in-state tuition and semester stipend. The Graduate Assistantship is a two-year appointment, renewable after the first year at the discretion of the athletic department.
