Under the supervision of the Executive Director of Institutional Advancement or designee, the Marketing Manager is responsible for the development, production, and placement of publications, advertisements and related materials and design, implementation and maintenance of the website for the College.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1.Develop and produce printed marketing materials for the College. Materials include, but are not limited to, enrollment-focused advertisements, newsletters, and ad journal placements. 2.Design, implement and maintain the College's website. Maintain website management functionality including a system for the updating and archiving of content. 3.Manages all technical aspects of the Content Management Systems (CMS) that are used for the college's websites as well as the hosting platforms and other related tools, applications and database. 4.Coordinate the institution's digital archival activities and monthly event photography calendar. Devise methods for and coordinate the involvement and assignment of departmental staff from functional areas to photograph and archive photos and other related images at events/activities as needed. 5.Ensure website design, content, social media sites, graphics and functionality incorporate appropriate emerging trends and are consistent with the College's branding and marketing standards. 6.Create and place print advertisements serving as liaison to ad agencies as appropriate. 7.Develop design standards with the use of brochure, flyer and other templates for departmental and College use. Enforce and ensure the compliance to established standards. 8.Research materials and coordinate with relevant staff regarding the accuracy of content, graphic arts development and related information. 9.Assist with and actively participate in the various aspects of the publication process including planning, writing, designing, printing, distributing of marketing collateral materials such as institutional advertisements, college catalog, newsletters, advertisements and other related marketing materials. 10.Continually look for creative ways to expand mailing lists and maximize distribution of marketing materials while ensuring effective delivery to key constituents. 11.Collaborate routinely with Enrollment Management and other departments to ensure that the final product and messaging reflect the established College branding standard. Represent the department on appropriate standing and ad-hoc committees. 12.Maintain strict confidentiality and security of staff, student, and client records. 13.Prepare routine, special, and ancillary reports as required. 14.Perform other related duties as required.
1.Master's degree preferred. 2.Experience working in publications, advertising and design. 3.Training in Web Design. 4.Experience in professional web development and administration, preferably in a marketing department or in higher education. 5.Experience in publication software applications such as QuarkXpress, Illustrator, Photoshop and/or Microsoft Office Publisher. 6.Excellent interpersonal skills. 7.Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing. 8.Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
1.Master's degree in Marketing or related area. 2.Four or more years experience working in publications, advertising and design.
