Under general supervision, develops and executes strategy for one or more marketing initiatives. Resolves problems and makes recommendations related to moderately complex matters and projects. Provides experienced-level analysis in one or more marketing disciplines. Recommends project budgets and forecasts anticipated budget spending. May coach others in less senior positions.
The Digital Content Experience team within Customer Engagement Marketing drives consistent and intentional storytelling across fedex.com to support the business and driving ongoing engagement. The successful candidate will join a team of content and channel strategists, building and managing content experiences in conjunction with stakeholders across the enterprise. The team is responsible for ensuring content is relevant to our audiences, which requires a data-driven and customer-centric mindset and understanding capabilities of our content management system and processes. Team members work collaboratively with other teams and independently to measure and analyze content performance, drive content best practices, leverage customer input, and ensure content is socialized and approved by necessary stakeholders.

Ability to evolve the essential story of how FedEx helps customers and prospects with shipping, printing and more as well as explain our full product portfolio in the fedex.com channel
Ability to leverage a test and learn approach, analytics, SEO data, and customer feedback for continued content design iteration
Ability to personalize content for audience by size (Small, Medium, Large), need state (new/veteran, simple/complex) or business journey stage Demonstrated familiarity with other digital marketing channels including email, search engine optimization, paid search, and social media marketing
Demonstrated working knowledge of content management systems, preferably Adobe Experience Manager, for editing and building web content pages
Demonstrated exposure to website analytics, SEO, testing and personalization practices and tools to make informed decisions on content targeting and personalization, Adobe Marketing Suite tools
Proven working knowledge of content management systems to create, publish, and manage content
Demonstrated knowledge of content management best practices and ability to discern effective content and content experiences
Experience in managing key vendor/partner relationships and cross-functional teams
Proven communication, strong initiative, creativity, flexibility, planning and thought leadership
Proven ability to collaborate and be an effective informal leader – will work with many other teams and will need to gain support
Ability to persuade others and drive positive change – will need to gain buy in for processes
Ability to see opportunities/gaps, design solutions, take independent action and make appropriate and timely decisions
Experience juggling many changing and evolving projects and priorities
Domicile Locations to be considered: Memphis, Tennessee

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree/equivalent in Marketing, Finance, Computer Science or related business discipline. One (1) year experience in marketing, advertising, sales administration, or related discipline. Knowledge of the broad application of principles, theories, concepts and techniques of marketing disciplines and project management. Good human relations and communication/presentation skills. Strong basic organizational, quantitative and analytical skills. Experience leading initiatives in a corporate environment. Customer-focused orientation.
