The Marketing and Communications Manager will handle the day to day marketing and communications activities of multiple client organizations represented by Compass Management and Consulting.
Tasks will include but are not limited to:
Develop marketing and advertising strategies related to membership, educational conferences, publications and other client activities Coordinate, develop and produce marketing, advertising, and educational print pieces including but not limited to brochures, postcards, membership pieces, etc. Prepare and execute digital marketing strategies for multiple clients that includes Google AdWords, Social Media, Re-targeting and SEO Prepare and execute email blasts for multiple clients in Constant Contact or Mailchimp Manage social media including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram for multiple clients Prepare, coordinate and plan distribution of newsletters in both print and electronic formats for multiple clients Oversee and manage websites and all content on the sites for multiple client organizations in coordination with the internal IT department Write and prepare copy/text for various marketing collateral as needed Assist with activities related to client public awareness campaigns Work with graphic designer on creating branding for educational conferences, membership collateral and any other client projects Prepare reports for and attend meetings of the board, committees, committee chairs and planning sessions as required Monitor and report on effectiveness of marketing communications Support membership-related tasks for each organization

The employee will be asked to work closely with multiple group managers that directly oversee our clients and to perform administrative and managerial tasks with high quality in a timely manner.

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Communications from a four-year college Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience The ability to travel frequently and represent interests of client groups. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong analytical and reporting skills Proficiency in all Microsoft Office Applications Proficiency with design programs such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
