Marketing and Communications Manager

The position is with the coupled and co-located organizations that support the independent college sector of New Jersey: the Association of Independent Colleges and Universities in New Jersey (AICUNJ), and the Independent College Fund of New Jersey (ICFNJ).  The position is at our new offices at 142 West State Street in Trenton, NJ.

Position Summary:  The Marketing and Communications Manager is responsible for developing, implementing and managing the communications and promotion strategy of the two coupled organizations in order to increase awareness of AICUNJ and ICFNJ objectives, improve visibility, support public advocacy, enhance fundraising efforts, and promote the understanding of the member institutions and their role in New Jersey.   Provides creative direction through production and oversight efforts involving all collateral content that supports promotion and marketing initiatives. This new role manages all social media channels, all digital communications, and all media campaigns including press and marketing campaigns, and coordinates with other team members to build and engage an audience of stakeholders, constituents, policy makers, and supporters of the independent college sector in New Jersey.  The Marketing and Communications Manager also works with the president, vice-presidents and chief administrator in preparing reports and other required documents for the organizations.  We value diversity in all of its forms and seek to match the diversity in our institutions.
