Our rapidly growing marketing department is seeking a creative and results-oriented Content Specialist who is passionate about content strategy and development. From graphics to videos, sales collateral, PowerPoints, editorials and more, the Content Specialist is skilled at using a variety of tools and mediums to shape narratives that stand out from the crowd. Under the guidance of the Director of Product Marketing, the Content Specialist will support organizational growth by creating material that interests, informs, and engages our current and prospective clients. The ideal candidate is highly organized, passionate about his/her work, and a resourceful self-starter. What You’ll Do for Us: Responsible for the overall development and maintenance of editorial strategies and content plans for product marketing initiatives Research’s and identifies topics, trends, and themes that build the brand story, connect with new prospects, and align with the overarching Premise message Tailors content to the needs and interests of various audiences both internally and externally Creates messaging and content for lead/opportunity nurturing programs for both the marketing and sales funnels Builds out internal content production processes to streamline content creation Produces impactful collateral and resources to aid in marketing, sales, and product adoption Writes creative copy for use in a variety of demand generation channels, from e-mails to case studies, video scripts, eBooks, webinars, website copy and more Recommends and develops visuals and graphics to support and augment the Premise message Partners with digital team to use data to drive editorial planning and focus areas Partners with digital team to optimize content on landing pages and in sales enablement materials, adhering to SEO best practices Collaborates with digital and communications team to review website content strategic approach, ensuring best practice and maximizing effectiveness of the Premise message Serves as marketing liaison with other internal departments and team members to execute product marketing initiatives May require other duties as assigned. Education: Bachelor’s degree in journalism, visuals arts, marketing, or related field or equivalent work experience Experience: 2+ years of content development experience Prior experience in B2B marketing preferred Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods. Communicating clearly via written, oral, and visual media. Self-starter, detail-orientated, and organized; demonstrates initiative and thrives in a fast paced, collaborative work environment. Offering thought leadership and perspective; helping team members match the most appropriate content strategies to strategic objectives. Possess excellent critical thinking and project management skills. Proficient in MS Office suite; experience with Adobe Creative Suite and/or video and photo production and editing helpful.
