The primary responsibilities of the Marketing and Productions Manager are to manage and direct all relevant aspects of the development, coordination, and implementation of AARC and Daedalus marketing and product management programs and those respective teams.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:
Marketing & Communications
Develop, coordinate and implement marketing program strategies and projects.
Identify and market products and services for respiratory care professionals and others allied to the field.
Helps to build/maintain strategic relationships to expand marketing opportunities for the AARC.
Monitor the marketing environment, trends, and competitors; conduct surveys as needed.
Manage marketing plans for products.
Assists other departments in the development of marketing campaigns and materials; writing content, creating graphics, art direction, branding.
Develop Key Performance Indicators to use in adjusting or developing marketing strategies.
Receive and respond to information calls/requests regarding marketing programs, products, educational programs, and services.
Ensure that AARConnect, aarc.org and email house, digital, print, social media ads align with current marketing campaigns and promotions
Assists in the development, coordination, and implementation of digital newsletters and emails via Informz.
Assists in maintaining AARC store products, inventory and listings as needed.
Plans strategic digital and print advertising campaigns and ensures that campaigns are posted on essential channel mediums.
Familiar with AP style guidelines and has a keen attention to detail.
Preserves confidentiality when dealing with proprietary information.
Advise, as necessary, Membership, Education, and Convention departments regarding associated marketing activities.
Tracks and collaborates with other departments for results of marketing efforts: including sales reports, the impact of ads, quality assurance, Google reports, identification of specific pros/cons, etc.
Perform data tabulation on AARC marketing programs, promotions, and research.
Distribute relevant information to customer service staff regarding marketing programs and products.
Responsible for the development of the AARC Marketing budget related to marketing and productions.
Understanding of web publishing requirements, Google Analytics, SEO best practices and/or experience with WordPress or other CMS to assist with posting articles on WordPress.
Understands website architecture, content, linking, and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.
Adds marketing content to landing pages and the website as needed to support communications and marketing teams.
Strategizes, collaborates, and assists communications department with social posts as needed.
Guides Digital Media Specialist with social media content ideas if needed.
Posts in AARConnect platform as needed to stay connected with members or conduct research, etc.
Assists Business Development with RC Week annual campaigns and conception.
Handles other special projects as needed.
Assist Daedalus, and Foundation departments in the marketing of their products, programs, and services.
Production & Design
Directs and helps maintain the organization of content, graphics, branding related to campaigns as needed on aarc.org and ensures content is up-to-date on all servers, online and in all branded collaterals.
Responsible in coordinating the development of external ads, house ads, direct mail pieces, emails, web promotions, and public relations for AARC projects, programs, products, and publications.
Provides art direction for AARC branded content and marketing collaterals, emails, advertisements; ensures consistency in the brand message.
Acquires printing & vendor quotes; tracks and submits vendor/printing expenses.
Serves as traffic manager for AARC Production Department; assigns job duties according to all AARC department calendars, marketing calendar promotions and campaigns.
Provides input on Membership, Education, Convention department projects as requested.
Assists in the marketing and production activities of AARC affiliates and subsidiaries, such as the American Respiratory Care Foundation (ARCF) and International Council for Respiratory Care (ICRC).
Coordinates the implementation of programs, software, and vendors for materials used in productions and publications.
Supervise internal and external employees in the productions, and marketing department.
Troubleshoots, coordinates, and manages for efficient production processes and workflow.
Meetings and Trade Shows
Attend AARC meetings and trade shows as they relate to marketing activities.
Attend non-AARC meetings and trade shows as assigned for promotional reasons and for primary research with prospective and non-members.
Manages the marketing strategy for the AARC Booth at the annual convention from conception to completion.
Handles reprint orders and manages their timely production. Submits Reprint billings to accounts receivable.
Handles inquiries and calls as pertains to marketing; social media inquiries as needed.

Adobe Creative Suite
WordPress, HTML familiarity
Working knowledge of SEO and keyword search
Excellent writing skills; AP knowledge required
Microsoft Dynamix 365 preferred, Online Catalog Management Software
Google Analytics, Informz, Formsite, Teamwork, Survey Monkey preferred
Must have the ability to work under high pressure, stressful working conditions. Must be able to meet strict deadlines.

Required Length and Type of Experience
Minimum five years experience in marketing, production or communications
Required Physical and Environmental Demands
Requires sitting for long periods of time.
May require the ability to walk or stand for long periods of time.
Dexterity to perform computerized functions.
Required to travel at least once a year for 5-7 days or more
