Senior Recruiting & Marketing Specialist - Friedman School of Nutrition - (20001695) Description This is a limited term position for 3 years. The Senior Recruiting & Marketing Specialist (the Specialist) is a three-year term position (with possibility for renewal) that reports to the Academic Dean of the Friedman School. The position will work closely with the school's Offices of Student Affairs and Communications and the University Communications and Marketing (UCM) department. The Specialist will design and implement data-informed strategies for graduate student recruitment at the Friedman School, working closely with the Friedman School's Admissions and Communications teams, UCM, Friedman School faculty and Program Directors, the Friedman School Career Services Center, and other offices throughout the University as required. As the primary liaison to the UCM marketing strategy team, the Specialist will leverage UCM expertise and resources to develop data-driven marketing strategies to increase applications and meet enrollment goals. The Specialist will implement a communications plan that support these strategies. The Specialist will participate in all phases of the recruitment continuum, including facilitating the development of recruitment goals and milestones; collecting and interpreting data to inform new recruitment strategies; monitoring trends in recruitment data; organizing and implementing strategies to strengthen awareness of the Friedman School to build relationships with organizations outside the Friedman School to develop a pipeline of prospective students; and maintaining records, assessing recruitment strategies, and creating reports. Throughout all aspects of responsibilities, the Specialist will identify and implement opportunities to increase student body diversity, equity, and inclusion at the Friedman School. Qualifications Basic Requirements: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
- Minimum of 5 years' relevant work experience.
Preferred Qualifications: - Familiarity with Technolutions Slate or similar CRM system strongly preferred.
- Attention to detail a must.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and contribute as a team member of, develop relationships with wide variety of internal and external constituencies, provide high-level of customer service, handle confidential information, balance need to be both strategic and detail-oriented, and work in fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal, listening and oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
- Ability to engage with a variety of constituents (prospective and current students, alumni, faculty, agencies, and vendors, etc.) from many different cultural backgrounds.
- Excellent organizational skills; ability to execute multiple objectives concurrently. Ability to work under and meet tight deadlines is essential.
- Ability and willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed, and to travel domestically and internationally.
- Graduate degree preferred.
