JEGS Automotive, Inc. is searching for a Marketing Director to lead our Marketing Team to promote our products, supporting and building the JEGS Brand through our state of the art website, our national mail-order catalogs, trade ads, email, SEO, SEM, social media and other marketing collateral designs. We're looking for a professional, experienced individual with advanced design skills and a creative, detailed eye that would enjoy working in a fast-paced independent environment.
In this position, you will be expected to: - Manage and execute all graphic and advertising plans from start to completion following corporate objectives for print, digital and social media. This includes the conceptualization and creation for a variety of projects including but not limited to: Digital marketing campaigns, web banners, email campaigns, social campaigns, paid marketing campaigns, landing pages, print catalog and specially assigned projects. Project planning including deadlines, budget management, resource allocation, and concept development.
- Must interpret and analyze the KPIs of the marketing campaigns including, but not limited to, overall sales impact, optimal ROAS, customer acquisition, growth and health of the email file, margin dollar and margin percent analysis, and marketing channel optimization.
- Manage in-house creative team of designers and a photographer as well as develop/maintain relationships with outside vendors/agencies. Clearly communicate expectations, ideas, and provide constructive feedback.
- Negotiate agreements acquiring competitive quotes and ensuring quality work in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Manage/approve print production schedules, print specifications and budget for (#) catalogs per year. Maintain project timeline and workflow throughout all stages of catalog production. Resolve any production issues throughout course of projects.
- Manage team responsible for accuracy in overall look and feel, product information, pricing and SKU’s in catalog and on website.
- Work closely with purchasing department to understand business trends. Synthesize data into facts to create actionable marketing plans.
- Budget and forecasting for all digital and print/advertising/marketing for JEGS Automotive, Inc. including TEAM JEGS racing affiliation.
- Participate in regular update meetings with VP of Purchasing & Marketing.
- Manage in-house photographer to develop and enhance images consistent with corporate strategy.
Required Skills: - Proven experience Leading/Directing an in-house creative team with a history of successful delivery, particularly in a multichannel retail environment.
- Strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple, concurrent projects successfully.
- Forward thinker with the ability to design, plan and execute effective marketing campaigns.
- Social marketing experience to include but not limited to Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
- Critical eye for detail.
- Must have a sense of urgency and ability to work under pressure and function proactively.
- Proven collaboration skills and experience working with other departments and leaders.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, including presentation skills.
- Proven organizational and leadership skills.
- Flexibility with hours due to deadline-based environment.
- Proficient knowledge of Google Analytics 360, Google AdWords, Adobe Creative Suite 6 specifically including, InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator on a Mac-based platform.
- Strong design and typography experience
- Must have auto parts knowledge, either professionally or as a personal passion
- Knowledge of photography and cameras is a plus
