Responsible for managing, developing and writing all content for PRI publications and marketing efforts related to the PRI Membership Department. Serve the Membership departments as the liaison to the Marketing, Communications and Publishing teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITY
Be knowledgeable on all member benefits, programs and services offered by the association.
Manage all content for the Membership department including:
Collaborate with stakeholders to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for assigning, writing, scheduling and submitting content for each communication channel.
Schedule content delivery according to the departments’ editorial calendar.
Manage the “Member Update” editorial calendar, content deployment and delivery timelines.
Ensure that all publication deadlines are met for eNews and Member News according to the departments’ editorial calendar.
Serve as liaison for the Membership staff to the marketing, communications and publishing teams to coordinate all related promotional efforts for their programs and events.
Learn and utilize the PRI’s eBlast system on behalf of the department;
Coordinate all tactical marketing efforts on behalf of the departments, which include but are not limited to eBlasts and print promotional materials; and
Develop marketing content for the department’s programs.
Manage as the administrator for Memberships social media pages.
Ensure relevant, approved and current content is posted;
Responsible for posting new events;
Execute on annual social media campaign; and
As necessary, assist with the PRI Members Facebook group (e.g., welcome new members).
Responsible for measurable growth goals in membership through membership communication and other methods of motivation.
Ensure that all the departments’ content is current on performanceracingindustry.com, microsites and other online properties.
Assist with maintenance of Membership data in PRI’s membership database, NetFORUM, as needed.
Support the departments and association outreach efforts at events/shows, as needed.
When directed by management, perform other assignments and duties as required.
Reports to PRI President.
Interfaces with all departments.
Interfaces with association members and prospective members.
PRIMARY SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
7+ years experience in marketing and communications role, with emphasis in digital, social media, or press release. Industry related marketing and communications experience is a plus.
4-year college degree in Business, Marketing, or Communications.
Must have passion for the motorsports industry.
Demonstrated experience making decisions at a managerial level.
Creative and business writing experience required.
Team player who is willing to embrace new ideas and demonstrate an ability to change and grow as required by the position.
Demonstrated proficiency in all Microsoft Office software and strong willingness to learn new software programs is required. Experience with association management or CRM software is preferred.
Process all external and internal requests within a 24-hour time period during weekdays.
Skilled communicator with strong organizational abilities.
Travel requirements up to 5%.
