SFC is currently interviewing candidates for the position of a Marketing Project Manager who will be responsible for advising and co-managing marketing projects to our SFM venues to ensure financial and qualitative goals are attained. This position will be responsible for assisting sports and recreation properties in achieving their financial and qualitative goals by leading marketing strategy development, managing the development of brand assets and collateral, managing communication processes from those properties to various support teams, leading client communication and collaboration at various stages, and by collaborating with marketers employed on-site in those facilities.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES ARE INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
Professional collaboration with a range of stakeholders including customers, clients, suppliers, designers, printers, colleagues, and partner organizations
Experience in the leadership, planning, and project management of advertising, digital marketing, public relations, event organization, product development, distribution, sponsorship and research of sports, entertainment, and recreation venues
Professional Communication, writing and proofreading copy; press releases, emails
Proven experience in the successful creation and launch of advertising/marketing campaigns
Management of a marketing and business development budget including decisions on prioritization of highest and best return-on-investment for each marketing dollar; proven analytics to measure the ROI, efficiency, and effectiveness for all marketing programs
Management of company websites (specifically in WordPress) including content development
Prior experience in market research to gain consumer insights and key selling points for attracting and managing corporate relationships including sponsorship and financial partnerships
Work experience in Convention and Visitor's Bureau or similar industry
Management and optimization of social media platforms and paid campaigns
Sourcing and placing multi-media advertising opportunities
Organizing and attending events such as conferences, seminars, receptions and exhibitions
Experience working in and maintaining databases for email marketing and/or CRM software
Strong Project management skills
Proven success in generating awareness through consumer marketing and branding
Intermittent office noise
Must be able to lift at least 20 lbs.
Minimal travel required
5-7 years experience in a similar or comparable position
Understand business basics (professionalism, read a P&L, create a budget, make a project management plan)
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Excellent computer skills including Word, Excel, Power Point, and Adobe Creative Suite publishing tools relevant to application
Passionate about marketing, brand-building, and client service
Must be able to collaborate, problem solve, and be solutions-focused
