Northwestern College has a full-time position opening for an individual who will tell Northwestern’s standout stories to a variety of constituencies as a member of the marketing & communications office. Responsibilities will include:
Writing for the website, the Classic magazine, news releases and other projects
Updating web content and strategizing with the MarCom team ways to consistently enhance Northwestern’s web presence
Collaborating with the MarCom team to envision and implement new means of effectively marketing Northwestern’s Stand Out brand
Managing a variety of projects, including campus ministry publications, brochures, kiosk messaging and marketing videos
Additional duties can be tailored to the strengths of the candidate and could include graphic design
The successful candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing, communications, PR, journalism, English or a related field, and have at least one year of effective marketing and communications experience. This individual must possess outstanding writing and proofreading skills, including competence in AP style; demonstrated ability to develop and execute effective marketing plans and materials; a strong commitment to customer service and collaboration; excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities; and strong attention to detail.
