Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking an Assistant Director of Marketing Summer & Winter Sessions- New Brunswick. Reporting to the Director of Summer & Winter Sessions and in coordination with the Associate Vice Presidents for Degree Completion Programs and for Continuing Education at the Division of Continuing Studies (DoCS), this position provides strategic planning and tactical execution to increase enrollments in and awareness of programs and services offered by DoCS. The positions is primary responsible for planning and implementation of DoCS credit-bearing marketing campaigns, websites, multi-media content, and analytics to gauge the success and cost-effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns and activities.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
Plans, implements, manages, and evaluates print and digital marketing campaigns and website development.
Develops both (a) annual communication and marketing plans to increase enrollment of DoCS credit-bearing programs, services, and initiatives and (b) tactical plans to meet targeted enrollment, revenue and return on investment (ROI) outcomes for DoCS credit-bearing programs, services and initiatives.
Supervises enrollment marketing with personnel assigned to marketing DoCS credit-bearing programs and coordinates Customer Relationship Management (CRM) operations for credit-bearing programs with Data Insights Group (DIG).
Plans and manages DoCS credit-bearing websites and landing pages. Ensures strategic and tactical campaigns are aligned with DoCS missions, priorities, and communication strategies.
Plans, implements, manages, and evaluates enrollment-driven multi-media content marketing.
Responsible for planning, producing, and distributing original multi-media content designed (a) to increase enrollment, participation and revenue in DoCS programs and services and (b) to meet ROI targets.
Continuously expands and monitors the volume, relevance and efficiency of marketing distribution channels.
Oversees planning, developing and coordination of special programs, activities and events.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Master's degree in a related field.
A minimum of three years experience in marketing and/or enrollment management, multi-media content generation and marketing and use of marketing analytics tools.
Expertise in creating, editing and deploying multi-media marketing projects; expertise in current digital marketing skill areas.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Must be able to travel to offsite locations to represent DoCS and Rutgers events.
