The Marketing & Learning Community Coordinator reports to the Executive Vice President and supports the work of the Director of Learning and Marketing, performing a variety of critical functions in the day-to-day operations. This position requires a highly organized self-starter with strong initiative and follow-through. The demands of this position are diverse, detailed, and dynamic. The candidate will be able to effectively balance the demands of what-is and the vision of what-could-be.
Learning Community Support
Own all aspects of the Learning Management System (Freestone)
Upload and manage on-demand webinars in the Learning Community
Work with the EVP and DLM to plan, design, develop and manage online courses that fit the needs of those who work and serve in the Florida child welfare system of care
Handle all aspects of CEU management and submission for attendees
Explore and expand CEU offerings for the Organization
Produce online live events, including webinars, conference streaming, learning community programs, and virtual conferences
Maintain current course content and manage member and attendee issues as they arise
Gather data to adjust or make suggestions for programming for all parts of the Learning Community portal
Research and contribute to white papers and other publications for FCC
Curate proposed content for the Learning Community Knowledge Center Library
Curate national child welfare news for our LC news and press page.
Provide support in implementing comprehensive external and internal communication and marketing strategies that elevate the Organization to varied audiences
Collaborate with social media/web lead to assist in using communications, tactics, and channels including web, social media, earned media, events, search engine optimization, collateral, etc. that elevate the Organization to varied audiences
Proactively seek, compile, and report on feedback from communications recipients, both internal and external, to be able to present results against deliverables
Collaborate with social media/web lead to track engagement across various platforms
Manage, track, and grow Organization's Learning Community and General contact mailing lists and social media contacts with the social media/web lead and staff and provide reporting
Provide administrative support to EVP and others as needed
Propose ways to streamline data systems better and utilize available tools/resources
Provide staff support for the EVP’s subcommittees, initiatives, and projects
Staff the Training Workgroup along with DLM and social media/web lead
Conduct research as needed
Assist with other tasks as needed in addition to the duties listed on this job description
Skills and Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University preferred
Three to five years’ experience in a similar role and capacity
Proficient with MS Office suite, especially Outlook
Excellent research and writing skills, including proofreading and editing documents
Experience with web design/management, including HTML coding, a plus
Proficient with Adobe Acrobat
Experienced with Adobe Creative Cloud is a plus
Highly organized and strong administrative skills
Experience working in a non-profit or trade association is a plus
Experience with customer relationship management and learning management software
Excellent customer service skills and attitude
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and see them to completion
Ability to work independently but function and collaborate as part of a small, strong team, maintaining a positive and constructive attitude
Ability to proactively identify, express, and solve problems
Compensation: $32 – 38k, based on experience, with an opportunity for annual performance-based compensation. Benefits include health insurance, 401k contribution, and other benefits.
Location: Primarily a remote position within Florida.
Other Requirements: Occasional evening/weekend work and occasional travel is required, for special meetings/events. Candidates are required to have their own cell phone and personal vehicle.
