Provides leadership, expertise, and oversight for Blinn College's web and digital presence, including website content management, functional innovation, and overall utility. This position works collaboratively within the Marketing and Communications Department and with internal and external stakeholders to drive brand awareness and engagement across all relevant digital platforms. This may include marketing automation, website development and updates, website design and optimization, search engine optimization (SEO) and tagging, search engine marketing (SEM), social media marketing and management, analytics, personalization capabilities, geo-targeting/geo-fencing, and all legal and government requirements for the website. The Assistant Director for Digital Marketing collaborates closely with members of the College District community to ensure consistent and integrated use of the College website, confirming content remains up-to-date and that departments consistently engage with their content. This position is responsible for ensuring that information on the website is accurate, communicates clearly, meets the needs of web visitors, and complies with proper style, spelling, grammar, and punctuation. This position directly oversees the Web Content Specialist and Videographer, and will work closely with both Communications Specialists regarding the creation of social media content.
