Communications and reporting
Act as a go-to person for ad-hoc proofing and editing, in addition to monitoring the write-ups queue, in accordance with deadlines and the house style.
Work with Responsibility Office to develop new communication content, including ESG thought pieces
Management of engagement case study process
Edit and compile the monthly client newsletter
Provide assistance to the Client Reporting team as required in relation to the production of ??PRI and UK Stewardship Code reporting
Manage digital communications distribution channels (website and social media) to enhance brand and profile.
Marketing materials and systems
Take responsibility for client and business development presentations, keeping them up-to-date and in line with house branding.
Maintain relationship with external design agency to create new materials as required.
Workwith the central marketing and digital team where appropriate to share knowledge and ensure best practice and a joined-up approach to the external market.
Manage communications integration with Eloqua, WordPress and Salesforce systems.
Comply materials via DOTapprove system.
Oversight of new client portal
Event management; in collaboration with the central Event Management team
Use a well-established framework to deliver two client advisory council events per year. This includes end to end coordination of the agenda, speakers, presentations, compliance, communications and suppliers
Coordinate smaller events, such as dinners and roundtables and attend if on-site management required
Support business development events, some of which will be international, and coordination of sponsorship opportunities where required
Work closely with CRMs and regional groups to monitor key trends and identify opportunities for events
Adhere to the FCA???s Conduct Rules, understanding that they set basic standards of good personal conduct.
Candidates will receive full support and some training, but must be an excellent project manager and have good organisational, interpersonal, written, numerical and analytical skills. Attention to detail is critical for this role. Candidates should have experience of working in a professional, fast-paced, client-focused environment on client service, marketing, event management and communications.
Previous experience of working with in a marketing team of an asset manager?? specifically with institutional client base and event management is essential. Experience in working with CRM databases and other marketing platforms is also required.
Skills and knowledge
Experience in a marketing role in a professional services or commercial environment
Experience with the process of managing and delivering corporate events from start to finish
Knowledge of email/CRM marketing platforms
Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
Must be in command of the English language and grammar
Must be able to meet deadlines and work under pressure
Keen attention to detail
MS office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
Interest in sustainability, ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) issues or Responsible Investment.
Pervious writing or journalism experience
Experience in the financial services industry
Knowledge of the responsible investment industry
Experience of working with or for a marketing agency
An eye for design
