The Graduate Admissions department is responsible for managing the recruitment and admissions processes for multiple graduate business programs towards the goal of reaching overall enrollment objectives. These objectives can be measured in two primary ways: 1) reaching target class sizes; and 2) achieving high quality of incoming classes on a range of factors including academics, work experience, test scores, and various dimensions of diversity. Over the past decade, Marshall has experienced significant growth and success in many areas. Marshallâs reputation is driven, in part, by the ranking of some of its graduate programs. The role serves as an important component in Marshallâs ability to maintain this recent momentum with the goal of further enhancing both the ranking and reputation of the School. While the graduate business programs vary in terms of class size and class profile, all are significant to the School. This role reports directly to the Assistant Dean & Director of Graduate Admissions.
Responsibilities and Duties
Managing from creation to implementation all digital marketing efforts for all graduate programs managed through the Graduate Admissions Office via advertising, social media posts, and email marketing.
Leveraging Salesforce and its functions to enhance marketing and community engagement goals related to the student experience.
Creating and maintaining email drip campaigns in Pardot.
Creating and managing events using the Blackthorn Salesforce application.
Using Salesforce and Tableau (or similar tool) to create admissions reports and dashboards.
Using Google Analytics to assess the effectiveness of online advertising.
Maintaining the appropriate admissions sections of the Marshall website (using the Drupal CMS).
Acting as the Salesforce point person for the Admissions team to provide training and answer basic usage questions.
Representing the Admissions Office on the Salesforce Steering Group and helping guide the use of Salesforce at Marshall.
Assisting in candidate assessment (file reading, interviewing) when necessary.
Some travel and presentations related to recruiting activities.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with higher education enrollment strategy and analytics.
Experience in admissions/recruiting (preferably graduate admissions) at a competitive institution.
At least one year of Pardot or similar tool (e.g., Marketing Cloud) experience (certification preferred).
At least two years of Salesforce administration experience (certification preferred).
Experience using Google Analytics.
Experience using a CMS like Drupal to maintain websites.
Experience with graphic design.Â
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere).
Minimum Qualifications

Minimum Field of Expertise: Bachelorâs degree in marketing, technology, science or related field. At least three yearsâ
experience. in email marketing, CRM marketing, direct marketing, database marketing, and/or lifecycle marketing. Expert knowledge of marketing automation platforms. Experience using CRM/marketing automation technology to drive business results, including CRM databases. Knowledge of customer segmentation techniques, persona development, and lifecycle management. Experience in marketing analytics and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics). Knowledge of customer segmentation techniques, persona development, and lifecycle management. Experience with the entire process of automated outbound and inbound marketing (e.g., lead scoring/nurturing/routing, campaign development and management, landing page and form building and optimization, and reporting/analytics). Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to communicate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
