Visit Seattle is a destination marketing organization responsible for promoting the Seattle area as a destination for visitors from all corners of the world and meetings & events of all shapes and sizes. This position is part of the Marketing department managing messaging around Seattle’s meeting and convention campaigns – aiding the organization in bringing groups to downtown. Now is a perfect time to join the team as Summit, Seattle Convention Center’s new building is about to open.
The Marketing Manager is a creative, a team player, a great writer, an ally, and, most importantly, a huge fan of Seattle. They will work with a talented and innovative team of creatives to amplify all the things that make Seattle a must-meet, must-see destination. This person is organized and works well under tight deadlines, thrives when working independently but is also a team player, ready to jump in wherever needed. What You’ll Do
Manage multi-channel campaigns with agency partners highlighting points of difference for Seattle as a premier destination for meetings and conventions.
Prepare for the opening of Summit, Seattle Convention Center’s new building – through campaign and messaging development and execution.
Focus on uplifting voices of historically disadvantaged neighborhoods and BIPOC communities.
Liaise between internal sales and marketing departments – managing schedules, feedback, core messaging.
Be an active member of the local hospitality community and work closely with hotel marketing liaisons.
Be a brand steward, ensure continuity in our marketing message and voice.

Who You Are
3-5 years relevant experience required.
Agency experience preferred.
Strong background using computers; proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook programs; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and WordPress is a bonus.
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
