Position Summary:
Yeshiva University High School for Girls (YUHSG/Central) is looking for a full-time Director of Marketing and Communications to coordinate, oversee and manage its branding, communications, and marketing.
Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Head of School, and working with the administrative team, the ideal candidate will be a member of the school leadership team and will primarily focus on:
Branding: - Develop a consistent and clear message and brand for all communications.
- Develop a strategy to promote the brand to the YUHSG community.
Communications: - Manage all marketing and general communications, including:
- School Website: design, content, and updates
- Social media efforts (Facebook and Instagram, etc.)
- Video (Professional promos, ad hoc highlights and recaps, annual fundraising dinner)
- Newsletters (paper and/or digital) and PR (articles in newspapers,appear on radio, etc)
- Traditional advertisements (newspaper, etc)
- Cultivate and maintain a relationship with our marketing and communication partners.
- Network with professionals in other schools and organizations.
- Oversee and set up all outgoing school emails in Constant Contact to ensure consistency of style and message
- Collaborate with the Admissions Department to develop collateral materials and provide project support
- Work on the dinner videos, emails and promotional materials
- Photography at all school events
Development: - Assist in the design and execution of development strategies and efforts
- Collaborate with administrative departments in articulating their purpose and ongoing work. Specifically, this includes the Head of School, Development, Admissions, Academic Divisions, and Technology.
- Ensure brand and messaging quality and consistency and establish guidelines to apply across all departments, activities and events at the school and among professional and volunteer leadership.
- Participate actively in the work and success of the senior leadership team and provide support for school events and administrative jobs as requested.
Alumnae: - Develop a plan and help to execute alumni programming.
Experience & Educational Background:
Bachelor's degree and 3 years of related experience is required.
