Responsible for the management, creation, and execution of the comprehensive digital and content marketing strategy to attract customers to UAB Health System. Duties include, developing and optimizing online paid media plans, monitoring and analyzing data and campaigns to identify best practices, and oversees digital content development.
Develops and executes new strategic online initiatives to drive profitable new customer acquisition to increase the long-term effectiveness of all digital efforts.
Provides in-depth analysis of all online marketing efforts in order to understand traffic patterns, marketing performance, and optimization opportunities.
Manages search engine marketing to optimize performance and provides expertise and support for optimizing post-click user experiences.
Provides support on external and internal web projects throughout UAB Health System.
Continually manages all paid online media on a variety of platforms including planning, bid management, keyword expansion, implementation, monitoring, landing page testing, and on-going optimization. Develops search funnels to identify key traffic sources from clicks to conversion.
Serves as digital marketing lead, developing robust interactive campaigns including execution, budget supervision, content strategy and daily management and optimization
Monitors and identifies new technologies and keeps UAB Health System at the forefront of developments in digital marketing; incorporates new strategies into the development and design of internal and external web properties.
Serves as health care industry thought leader in content and digital marketing

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or related field and five (5) years related experience required. Must possess a solid understanding of the latest digital platforms, software, social media, digital strategy, email marketing, SEO, SEM, and budget management. Must have technical experience in Google AdWords, Analytics, Facebook Business Manager and content management systems in general. Must be organized, detail-oriented and thorough, think analytically, and work effectively in a team setting. Must demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects and budgets at once, meeting and exceeding deadlines. Coding experience (HTML, CSS, etc.) preferred.
Google AdWords and Google Analytics Certification preferred.
