This is a unique entry-level opportunity within the Consumer Content team at Ameriprise Financial, working with colleagues across the firm to deliver compelling omnichannel content experiences to clients and prospects.

As a Digital Content Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring content compliance across multiple channels and platforms including ameriprise.com, social media, native advertising and others. This includes managing content development and updates, as needed. You will work within multiple content management systems as well as partner with the public sites agile team to maintain respective site standards, timelines and operational best practices. You will also edit and optimize digital content, maintain content inventories and assist with reporting and dashboards. This position has a broad reach across the firm, working with multiple business partners, so strong relationship and communication skills are needed.

This position reports to the Senior Manager, Content Marketing.

Responsibilities

??? Serve as primary point of intake and resource for ongoing content updates and maintenance in firm-owned digital assets.
??? Update ameriprise.com web content in the CMP and CMS, collaborate with agile team to develop and deliver content updates and enhancements.
??? Track, analyze and report on volume, frequency and trends in ongoing content requests. Contribute to team dashboard reporting and ad hoc reporting requests.
??? Manage relationships with multiple business partners and provide guidance to on digital content requirements, trends and best practices.
??? Work with subject matter experts across the company to make sure that content is representative of the company point of view.
??? Maintain brand consistency across all channels and tactics.
??? Help ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies and procedures.
??? Other responsibilities, as assigned.

Required Qualifications

???Bachelors degree or equivalent
???Minimum of 1-3 years of marketing and communications experience.
???Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
???Detail oriented and self-motivated.
???Competency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and project collaboration.
???Experience managing content in digital channels (websites, social media).

Preferred Qualifications

??? Understanding of content success metrics and analysis.
??? Prior content marketing experience.
??? Understanding of information architecture, interactive design principles, web usability, and online marketing and business needs.
??? Familiarity with content management and project collaboration systems. (e.g. Jira, Smartsheet, Bloomreach etc.).
??? Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism or Finance or a related field; or demonstrated experience in financial services industry or similarly regulated industry.
??? Familiarity with agile project management.
??? Familiarity with wealth management and asset management, Ameriprise target audiences including affluent segments, and competitor activities.
