SUNY Geneseo is hiring a marketing manager. The marketing manager will lead marketing strategies for undergraduate, graduate, international, and transfer student recruitment. Working with the Communications & Marketing and Admissions (Enrollment Management) departments, the manager will strategize, plan, and execute integrated marketing efforts to meet enrollment targets of prospective students through the applicant life cycle from inquiry generation through enrollment.
We are looking for someone who is self-directed and data-driven. The manager of marketing must demonstrate return on investment across multiple acquisition channels, including but not limited to organic and paid search, paid advertising, purchased lists, email marketing, social media marketing, and optimized websites. This new position will report to the chief communications and marketing officer with a dotted line to the vice president for enrollment management.

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related fields such as public relations, English, journalism, marketing.
Experience in integrated marketing, including online digital marketing, email marketing, newsletters, print brochures.
Experience using a CRM for marketing activities, including designing and sending emails, reviewing data and creating tags/links to track digital marketing campaigns
Experience with collecting data via Google Analytics, and interpreting the information.
