The Senior Writer will conceptualize, develop and execute multiple, strategic communications pieces in support of initiatives that cross institutional boundaries and disciplines, and represent some of the university's highest priorities. Reporting to the Director, Content Strategy, the Senior Writer will work closely with members of the University Communications and Marketing division, liaise with communications staff across the university and work collaboratively with senior administrators in departments, schools, colleges and libraries. Responsibilities will include conceiving, writing and editing stories for the university website and other vehicles and project managing the production of dynamic content that supports the CMU brand and helps to raise the visibility
