The Assistant Vice President (AVP), Marketing and Communications, is a senior leader overseeing the development and execution of comprehensive marketing and communications strategies in support of the business goals of assigned client(s), which may include BILH’s community hospitals, business units and/or system departments/services. The AVP manages a team of directors who serve as the primary liaisons between the executive, operational and clinical leaders of their respective clients and the broader Marketing & Communications Department. The AVP also serves as the primary liaison between a client or clients and the Marketing & Communications Department.
The AVP is instrumental in ensuring connectivity and communication among his/her/their direct reports, and with subject matter experts Centers of Expertise (COEs) across BILH Marketing and Communications to achieve strategic alignment, capitalize on system efficiencies, and advance marketing and communications best practices within the organization.
Reporting to the Vice President, Marketing and Communications, this individual ensures support of client business goals through his/her/their team’s understanding of client prio...rities and the development of business cases and/or related integrated marketing and communications plans to use a variety of channels to engage with target audiences. The AVP ensures team’s collaboration with colleagues across Centers of Expertise (COEs) within the BILH Marketing and Communications Department to develop and implement plan components and support routine programs. This individual maintains a comprehensive understanding of clients’ organizational cultures, business strategies, clinical service offerings, operations, competitive landscape and financial performance to ensure direct reports’ roles in the advancement of client goals through effective marketing and communications strategies.
