SUMMARY Spring Arbor University invites individuals who are passionate about sharing their experience and expertise in Marketing and Entrepreneurship to apply for a full-time tenure track faculty position. The ability to teach international business would be a plus. Spring Arbor University is located on a beautiful campus in southern Michigan and is regionally accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. The position will begin in Fall 2023. Full-Time Tenure-Track Faculty position.
QUALIFICATIONS Spring Arbor University is a community of learners distinguished by our lifelong involvement in the study and application of the liberal arts, total commitment to Jesus Christ as the perspective of learning, and critical participation in the contemporary world. The candidate should be enthusiastic about teaching and contributing to the Gainey School of Business through advising/mentoring students and various activities related to the business programs. Candidates from diverse populations or who have experiences working with diverse populations are especially encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will be able to articulate how they would integrate the Christian faith into their discipline and will be someone who enjoys working with students and other faculty. Responsibilities will include teaching, development of scholarly endeavors (broadly defined), innovative curriculum development, mentoring students, contributing in collegial ways to build the business programs at SAU, and university service. Individuals will exhibit a life and service that is in full accord with the Spring Arbor University Concept, Statement of Faith, and Community Covenant.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE Applicants must have a minimum of a master’s degree in Marketing, Business, or Entrepreneurship, or a closely related field, with at least 18 graduate hours in the discipline or extensive related professional experience. An earned Ph.D. or DBA is preferred. We are seeking an individual who is passionate about sharing their expertise with students to prepare them to impact the world for Jesus Christ within the vocation of Marketing and Entrepreneurship. A record of successful college teaching in both face-to-face and online formats is preferred.
SALARY AND BENEFITS Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience and other qualifications. Spring Arbor University provides a significant benefit package, which includes medical and life insurance and contribution to a retirement program. The expected teaching load is 24 credit hours with opportunities for overload.
