We are looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to join the MarTech team, a new central initiative that combines marketing strategy and content with technology to expand graduate program enrollments at the university.
They help advance student recruitment efforts by developing and coordinating digital marketing and communications efforts while using data analysis to improve results. Our ideal candidate has - in addition to the qualifications shown below - a strong background using Google Analytics, with knowledge of digital marketing lead generation tactics, analytics strategy, SEO/SEM, and using email marketing/CRM systems to generate marketing leads.

Responsibilities
Execute marketing campaigns that generate and nurture leads in coordination with larger marketing strategy
Analyze website metrics to assess goal completion for optimal content performance at each stage of the marketing funnel
Implement transition and migration strategy for Google Analytics 4
Manage reporting, testing, creation and maintenance of reporting content/features in Google Analytics
Create test scenarios and audience segmentation and analytics, using results to adjust strategy to enhance campaigns
Identify and interpret data to create actionable changes to marketing strategy, reporting regularly to stakeholders
Build email campaigns in Slate and create new templates as needed; and analyze and present results that identify strategic improvements to improve campaign effectiveness
Execute program marketing strategies through digital advertising campaigns, including but not limited to paid search and social media marketing, driving engagement and audience conversion
Create and implement retargeting campaigns to generate leads, providing strategic adjustments as needed
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
3-5 years of professional marketing experience including advertising, media planning and/or brand management - preference for higher education experience - and within those years of experience, 2 years digital marketing/email marketing experience and 2 years of website /UX experience
Solid knowledge of website analytics tools - for example, Google Analytics, Siteimprove, and Hotjar
Experience in media planning and placement, specifically for lead generation
Demonstrated ability to analyze and synthesize data, and to glean actionable insights to inform strategy
Experience working in a CMS (e.g., WordPress) and a CRM (e.g., Slate)
Strong analytic skills and data-driven thinking
Ability able to work collaboratively in a team environment
Excellent customer service skills

The Digital Market Manager will work at the School of Continuing Studies' state-of-the-art downtown D.C. campus two days a week and telework the other three.
