The Student Involvement and Leadership Center (SILC) is located at three prominent locations on campus, the Indiana Memorial Union, Eigenmann Hall (IU Outdoor Adventures), and Campus View Apartments (Crimson Cupboard). Job Summary
Works to promote and generate awareness for the IU Late Nite program series at the Indiana Memorial Union.
Manages and distributes all marketing materials related to Late Nite, a weekly Friday series composed of musicians, entertainment, DIY crafts, novelties, comedians, bowling and more planned for Indiana University students and guests.
Develops effective marketing strategies to boost brand awareness and event attendance, conducts target audience research, oversees the creation of marketing materials, and consistently envision new ways to expand the Late Nite brand. The ideal marketing manager will not only develop effective strategies, but will go above and beyond to adjust their strategies to match current trends among students.
Works in cooperation with the event coordinator and outreach coordinator to assign marketing related tasks to event assistants as necessary.
Keeps their team up-to-date on research findings and discussing their implications for future events.
