Job Description
ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR OF COMMUNICATIONS AND MARKETING,Sloan School of Management, to work collaboratively as an important member of the Global Programs team. Will be responsible for producing internal and external communications about the programs, including newsletters, direct mail, print publications, digital communications, event/campaign communications, sponsorships, and other items intended for MIT Global Program's audiences; developing and delivering messaging and materials to internal and external audiences through a variety of channels; using expertise in web, social, email, video, and print platforms to manage projects from concept through execution; and collaborating on the development of strategies that result in increased engagement and participation.
REQUIRED: bachelor's degree, preferably in communications or related field; at least five years of experience in communications/marketing; proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.; photography and videography skills; excellent project management, leadership, relationship-building, customer service, presentation, editing, and written and oral communication skills; Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) proficiency; discretion and judgment with confidential information/issues; experience in multi-channel and digital marketing communications; and experience with and desire for domestic and international travel. Must be able to scope and manage complex projects, including working strategically, setting priorities, meeting deadlines, motivating teams, and managing budgets; engage within the community; foster innovation and experimentation; and build diversity and inclusion. Salary range: $71,175 - 95,188 - 119,200, based on related experience, expertise, and internal equity. Generally, new hires can expect pay between the minimum and midpoint of the range.
This role is eligible for a flexible work schedule that aligns with Global Programs guidelines (a minimum of two days in the office).
Must be able to work when programs are on campus, including evenings and weekends when needed, and engage in possible international travel.
