The Northeastern University College of Professional Studies (CPS), whose mission is to enable transformational experiences and impact for learners everywhere, is looking for an Asst Dir - Marketing Graduate Programs who will design and implement an effective recruitment strategy for generating new to university students for its Graduate School of Education (GSE).
The GSE sets the global standard for a graduate school of education, as measured by the real change our graduates make in their schools, organizations, and communities. The GSE Doctor of Education program was recently named the Program of the Year by the Carnegie Project on the Education Doctorate for its innovatively redesigned EdD using experiential learning to drive equity focused change.
Under supervision of the Executive Director of CPS Enrollment Marketing & Communications, The Asst Dir - Marketing Graduate Programs will also work closely with the head of the GSE, Northeastern's central Enrollment Marketing (EM), and key stakeholders within CPS and the GSE and our Northeastern Global Network Campuses in Boston, Charlotte, Seattle, and Oakland.
The Asst Dir - Marketing Graduate Programs will counsel prospects from initial contact through enrollment into the GSE offerings in Boston, Online, and within Northeastern's Global Network campuses. We are looking for an experienced educator with a professional sales or marketing background that is passionate about higher education and understands the value of graduate degree programs.
A successful candidate will be a team player with a strong work ethic and demonstrated ability to successfully work independently, and who actively contributes to a high volume, fast-paced environment. This results-driven position also requires comfort and motivation working to achieve and exceed benchmarks, KPIs and targets. This position requires the ability to work a flexible schedule that includes mornings, evenings and weekends, extensive travel, reliable transportation, and a valid driving license.
45% Recruiting
Recruit for a collection of both master's and doctoral degree programs offered through the GSE with primary focus on the EdD (Doctor of Education) program.
Develop the recruitment and enrollment strategy may include, but not limited to direct outreach via phone, text and email, virtual or in-person appointments and generating new prospects via recruitment tactics and channels that may include virtual and in-person events designed to attract domestic, professional graduate students to meet GSE enrollment and revenue goals.
Establish strategic relationships with key stakeholders at educational institutions, organizations, and ancillary organizations throughout Northeastern's Global Network.
Attend relevant conferences and trade shows to promote the GSE programs and establish new employer relationships.
40% Marketing
Expand knowledge of regional and national educational education enrollment trends and effectively communicate to internal and external stakeholders on a regular basis.
Educate partners and potential students on the GSE value proposition and how the portfolio of programs can benefit them personally and professionally.
Research, edit, and produce informational materials (in collaboration with the creative team) that will promote the program and guide prospective students through their enrollment journey.
Collaborate with content team on relevant and timely content designed to provide informational and promotional support for the GSE programs that enable field recruitment.
Coordinate with Enrollment Management Digital Media team on targeted advertising and promotional activities
10% Operations
Maintain records of all recruiting and promotional activities in project management Asana and CRM systems.
Develop and maintain accurate recruitment manuals and job aids.
5% Other Duties

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required, preferably in education, marketing, or related field.
Three years of outside sales and/or marketing experience, preferably in education.
Experience working in education for adult and non-traditional learners.
Experience working at a university.
Experience working with students.
Experience in working sales/leads/inquiries.
Successful management of a large geographic sales territory.
Track record of highly competent organizational and time management skills; demonstrated professional success and continuous career growth.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and be self-motivated to achieve monthly/quarterly KPIs.
Proficient with using Microsoft applications, CRM, and other systems.
A knowledge of principles and best practices in customer service.
Ability to acquire a thorough, detailed knowledge of applicable GSE and university infrastructure, policies, and procedures.
Ability to independently handle multiple work priorities and projects and work well under pressure of frequent interruptions, program deadlines, etc.
Must have strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to edit materials for clarity and syntax.
Ability to establish and maintain working relationships, interact and provide customer support to faculty, staff, students and the public.
Ability to work in a performance-based environment with established performance expectations and established goals/objectives.
