Position Overview:
Rider University, an NCAA Division I institution and member of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) invites applications for an Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing & Fan Engagement. Reporting to the Senior Associate Athletic Director, External Operations & Senior Women's Administrator, this individual will play an integral role in all facets of athletics marketing. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing comprehensive marketing and social networking plans and promoting the Rider Athletics brand in an effort to increase attendance and awareness at home athletic contests, maximizing the game-day fan experience, and supplementing corporate sponsorship fulfillment efforts. The Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing & Fan Engagement will assist with broadcasts of events via BroncVision, ESPN3 and ESPN+ and coordinate usage of the video board and LED digital scorer's tables as well as coordinate all graphic design elements for the department.
Position Requirements:
Bachelor's degree
One to two years' athletics marketing experience at a college or university or other athletics entity
Basic working knowledge and willingness to comply with NCAA rules
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Experience with Adobe creative suite and graphic design skills
Time management skills
Knowledge of technological trends in athletics marketing
