This is a role that provides exposure to working with multi media platforms as well as providing assistance and communications within those platforms. Assist with developing and implementing innovative strategic communications and outreach programs and initiatives. Assist in the implementation of a program-level strategic communications plan, and help determine challenges, opportunities, and needs. Assist in the daily operations of a small team that produces graphic design, publication materials, patient communications, newsletters, and informational materials for internal or external stakeholders. Assist with planning / formulating, shooting, editing, and releasing all video related content for YouTube videos, social media and marketing assets.
Job Responsibilities
Assist with filming of workflows, procedures, and events.
Assist with creating and designing interesting visuals through product placement, prop placement, shooting locations, lighting design, camera positioning, etc.
May assist with aspects of video editing which include but are not limited to editing, color grading, and audio design
Work with other team members to conceptualize as well as finalize video related content
Assist in the planning, scheduling and scripting of various content
Create content for various marketing related tasks that can be made into various marketing assets
Store, file, organize and archive video related assets
Store and organize all video related content that is shot in a way that can be retrieved and used on an as needed basis
Education
High School Diploma
Experience
Bachelors degree or Masrter's degree preferred
Experience writing and editing material in a journalistic style
Experience creating content and content planning
Ability to gather information and synthesize it into client-ready deliverables
Knowledge of post-production techniques Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong verbal and written communication skills, and experience with a range of audiences, preferably in academia (such as students, faculty, and administrators).

Requires walking from building to building through multiple clinical areas, including hospital patient care settings and procedure rooms.
