Position Summary:
The brand manager position is an integral part of the Marketing team. The brand manager is responsible for making the UCI Health brand tangible, relevant and compelling through strong brand infrastructure and strategic brand counsel. The brand manager will help the marketing team strengthen reputation, build market awareness, preference, as well as loyalty of the UCI Health brand. This role manages the creative services team. The brand manager will guide application of the UCI Health brand across a variety of channels and audiences, according to brand guidelines.

Required Qualifications:
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
Must possess the skill, knowledge and abilities essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Able to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously with demonstrated ability to complete projects successfully on time and within budget
Strong interpersonal skills, tact and diplomacy, political acumen.
Previous supervisory or lead experience
Bachelor's Degree in related area and/or equivalent education/experience
7 years experience of successful brand management
Brand management expert with strong knowledge of current and emerging industry requirements and best practices in areas of brand management
Creative, strategic thinker with strong visual design and design thinking principles
Knowledge of graphic design, animation, video and photography and photography principles
Strong skills in strategic planning to effectively organize resources, establish priorities, and achieve desired results
Effective organizational skills and detail-oriented
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience working in an academic medical setting
Master's Degree in a related field
Working knowledge of Adobe Suite
