The Marketing Manager for the Arthur M. Blank School for Entrepreneurial Leadership is responsible for overseeing tactical marketing efforts and providing dedicated support to three of the Centers and Institutes within the Blank School. This role will work closely with the AVP of Communications and Marketing and the Director of Strategic Operations at the Blank School, maintaining dual reporting lines. The Marketing Manager will operate within an Agile environment, emphasizing efficient and productive marketing strategy development and execution.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Lead tactical marketing initiatives for the Blank School, with a specific focus on providing dedicated support to three Centers and Institutes.
Represent the marketing needs of the Centers and Institutes in alignment with the Babson brand and strategy. Develop a roadmap for introducing the Centers and Institutes' brands to existing and new audiences, including current and prospective students across graduate, undergraduate, and professional audiences.
Collaborate with the Blank School Leadership team to develop and execute the tactical marketing plan and communications strategy for the Centers and Institutes. This includes developing targeted thought leadership materials, managing their online presence, creating content, and addressing digital marketing needs and requirements.
Partner with the College Marketing team to ensure marketing needs for the Centers and Institutes align with brand management and the overall College strategy.
Review and analyze the performance of tactical marketing strategies, regularly sharing data-driven insights to optimize marketing and communications efforts.
Act as the primary contact for enrollment marketing communication efforts related to the supported Centers and Institutes, engaging partners and programs within the Babson ecosystem to strengthen and promote their respective brands.
Stay informed about current trends in business education and entrepreneurship, as well as competitor schools and programs, to keep tactical marketing approaches relevant and competitive.
Utilize Agile and Scrum principles to facilitate efficient tactical marketing strategy development and execution. Collaborate closely with the College Marketing team to fulfill marketing needs.
Assumes additional responsibilities as required.
WHAT EDUCATION AND SKILLS YOU WILL NEED
Bachelorâ™s Degree.
A minimum of 6-8 years of successful leadership experience in marketing, communications, or related fields.
Prior experience in tactical marketing strategy execution.
Agency and/or client-service mentality and experience.
Strong communication and writing skills, especially in messaging and content development.
Effective collaboration skills, with the ability to work across functions and with leaders at all levels.
Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced, agile marketing environment.
Ability to foster an environment where colleagues have the freedom to take initiative, handle complexities with resilience, and appreciate open-mindedness, creativity, and agility.
Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suites, and online communications platforms (Webex, Zoom, etc.).
