Position Summary

The Office of Alumni & Constituent Engagement (ACE) provides meaningful, personal, and sustained connections with alumni, parents, and friends to advance the mission of Washington University. Teams within ACE include Alumni Networks, Class and University Programs, Alumni and Parents Admission Program, and the Travel Program. The Senior Associate Director, Marketing & Digital Communications will report to the Director, Marketing & Digital Communications. The Senior Associate Director will assist the director in developing, implementing, and assessing marketing and digital communications activities for the Office of Alumni & Constituent Engagement.

Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Create and edit a wide range of marketing materials (including print, email, web, social, etc.) that promote events and programs sponsored by the Office of Alumni & Constituent Engagement.
• Support the Director in management of departmental operations, including but not limited to providing project management oversight on project requests, monitoring workloads across the marketing team, and conduct tracking and analysis of marketing campaign metrics, operating plans, etc.
• Identify, review, and analyze current marketing trends and competitor offerings and make recommendations for implementation within the ACE team.
• Lead and manage one coordinator.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned. As a member of the Alumni & Constituent Engagement team, you may be asked to support and work events on campus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in marketing/communications, preferably in higher education or advancement.
• Project management experience.
• Experience using AP style.
• Familiarity with Salesforce, MyEmma, WorkDay, Wordpress, ClickUP is a plus.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelorâ™s degree.
• Three to five years of related experience.

Salary Range

$64,700.00 - $110,500.00 / Annually

The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
