As a member of the Property Marketing Center of Excellence (COE) in the Americas, the Senior Marketing Specialist â“ Copy Writer is responsible for developing written contentâ”especially thematic and strategic messagingâ”as the primary writer within the marketing team. This position is accountable for producing outputs consistent with marketing industry best practices and developing copy and messaging that effectively moves target audiences to action. Â
Job Description
Responsibilities:Â
Execute overall positioning and messaging strategy for property marketing efforts (for lease or sale) as primary writer, including working with Brokerage Teams and broader marketing teamÂ
Contribute to developing Creative Briefs for new projects, and/or work with existing Create Brief to generate ideas for marketing themes and copy for a range of marketing assets and channelsÂ
Oversee, write and/or edit and project manage copy development for all materials Â
Brochures, web, social media, email, signage, direct mail, video, property events, sale offering materials and moreÂ
Work with Property Marketing team to successfully execute campaign best practices and monitor ongoing performanceÂ
Identify and develop thematic messaging concepts that could be used in part or in whole with other campaigns, and catalogue, curate and tag for easy access for other team members and projects Â
Help devise critical lead generation strategies and techniques that drive awareness of opportunities for sale or leaseÂ
Work with design team to ensure key messages and copy are easily consumed and emphasized to target audience Â
Identify opportunities to streamline standard processes to create efficiencies in integration of ideas into compelling copy, and compelling copy into graphic designÂ
Represent Cushman & Wakefieldâ™s marketing capabilities for commercial real estate assets in client pitches, effectively communicating how our team would differentiate and creatively position assets in the market to drive activity  Â
Become effective and fluent in Cushman & Wakefieldâ™s CRM, helping to connect data to improve marketing efforts and generate more leads and revenueÂ
Work with internal SEO team to improve web search results Â
Use analytics to assess how effective campaign assets and efforts are and to identify opportunities for improvementÂ
Develop strong ties to colleagues in similar roles for effective sharing Â
Develop critical understanding of the real estate market, tenant target groups and personas, ever-changing real estate space usage and needs, and Cushman & Wakefieldâ™s Investor Client community Â
Gain a keen understanding of how target audiences for properties for lease or sale consume marketing and present ideas to enhance engagement Â
Job Requirements & QualificationsÂ
Bachelor Degree; Marketing, Communications, English or similar  Â
Minimum of 7 years of marketing experience with at least a minimum of 4 years serving as primary strategist or copy writer, marketing products or services and developing creative messaging Â
Experience marketing professional services, and particularly commercial real estate services, is a plus Â
Strong command of copy writing fundamentals, understanding how to highlight features and benefits to persuade and move an audience to action Â
Ability to communicate and collaborate with graphic design partners to bring marketing assets to life Â
Excellent knack for headline writing, subject line writing, story-telling, and other persuasive techniques to engage target audiences Â
Strong knowledge of commercial real estate industryÂ
Strong oral and presentation skills Â
Comfort with and appreciation for both the art and science of marketing, including excellent analytical skills to refine and improve copy for better results Â
Ability to work effectively in a diverse team environment and typically with remote team members Â
Confident self-starter with impeccable attention to detailÂ
Inquisitive, has a desire to learn and ability to adaptÂ
Proven record of providing excellent internal and external customer serviceÂ
Ability to influence peers and leadersÂ
Proficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteÂ
Familiarity with the Adobe Creative Suite is preferred, and/or the ability to learn the basicsÂ
