Establish and build a creative vision and production plan for multimedia projects by collaborating with the Marketing and Market Strategy team
Collaborate with marketing specialists and faculty partners to understand goals and audience insights and translate marketing goals into compelling visual storytelling
Collaborate with marketing specialists on concept development and pre-production activities, which include creating briefs, treatments, scripts, storyboards, and shot lists.
Plan and coordinate all aspects of production, including location scouting, equipment selection, and production scheduling
Identify and secure necessary production resources, including crew and talent as needed
Lead studio and field video production, including directing talent, setting up shots, and ensuring high-quality visuals and audio
Perform all aspects of field production, including: developing a production schedule, identifying and securing locations, reserving equipment, crewing and making transportation arrangements
Provide still photography and social media content for marketing projects.
Edit video projects from start to finish meeting the quality and brand standards of CAI.
Apply motion graphics, typography, and visual effects to enhance storytelling and engagement of video projects.
Ensure all videos meet accessibility standards
Optimize video for various platforms, including social media and website embeds
Partner with a range of CAI teams to develop cohesive cross-team workflows to support marketing projects, XR projects, internal promotion projects, MOOCs, Teach-Outs, and other online learning experiences
Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of related experience (digital media production, marketing or related field) or equivalent combination of education and experience
Implement all aspects of studio and field productions
Experience using Final Cut Pro X and Adobe Creative Suite
Experience collaborating with project teams and identifying areas of stress to provide solutions to pending issues
Knowledge of the principles, practices, techniques, technology, and standards of digital media production for global audiences
Working knowledge of graphic design principles with the ability to conceptualize compelling visuals to support multimedia projects
Knowledge of trends and best practices for developing marketing and social media content
Portfolio providing examples of multimedia video work, providing the roles you played on the selected projects. Please provide examples of scripts you have written in this portfolio
Experience working independently as well as leading and managing multi-person production teams.
