Position Overview: The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing plans to attract, engage and retain members in the financial services industry. This role requires strong analytical and communications skills, and the ability to foster a collaborative and results-driven environment to achieve marketing goals.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning
Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with association’s strategic plan
Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify opportunities for growth
Campaign Management
Plan and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns (digital/social media, print, email, etc.), particularly around event promotion and member engagement
Monitor and optimize campaign performance to maximize ROI
Content Development
Write/develop high-quality marketing content, including articles, emails, website content and social-media posts
Ensure all content aligns with FBA brand guidelines
Brand Management
Maintain and enhance the association’s brand image and reputation
Develop brand positioning and messaging that resonates with target audiences
Partnerships and Collaborations
Identify and build relationships with key industry partners, such as marketing and communications staff at peer associations and member banks
Manage relationships with external agencies and vendors
Performance Analysis
Track and report on key marketing metrics and KPIs
Use data-driven insights to refine marketing strategies and tactics
Budget Management
Ensure effective allocation of resources to achieve marketing objectives
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations or a related field
3+ years of experience in marketing; experience/background in graphic design highly desired
Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns
Strong analytical skills and experience with marketing-analytics tools
Excellent project management and collaboration skills
Superior written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, social media and email marketing
Experience in the financial services industry is preferred, but not required
