The Digital Marketing Strategist is a senior member of the Marketing Team within the Office of e-Campus Learning and is responsible for providing leadership in creation and execution of marketing strategies for e-Campus programs.
1. Supports and contributes to the development and execution of the annual marketing strategic plans, including identifying opportunities to grow enrollment and build awareness of the programs. Manage development of marketing materials, such as digital ads, email campaigns, advertising copy, scripts, and talking points. Lead planning and implementation of digital marketing campaigns that drive outcomes based on marketing objectives. Oversee paid advertising & search campaigns. Negotiate and manage relationships with multiple advertising partners and vendors. Assist in writing, proofreading, and editing creative and technical content across different mediums.
2. Monitor, analyze and manage multiple campaigns including their performance and report success to various stakeholders and leadership. Continuously make improvements when needed. Report on leads generated from digital and PPC campaigns. Conduct keyword research and conversion optimization for individual pages and landing page templates, and create keyword target lists. Assist with development and oversight of marketing budget. Keep abreast of latest trends in marketing, video, social media, and digital strategies. Assist in the growth of new and existing social media communities. Assist in the monitoring of metrics across platforms to help identify positive (or negative) trends associated with changes made on our website and landing pages.
3. Supports the efficient and effective operations of the Department of Marketing by completing other duties as assigned.
